Gus talks about his dad's pants. Actually, they're a pair of pants his father gave him not long before he died almost 14 years ago. He used them for yard work and, yesterday, decided to throw them away. They were pretty ratty and filled with holes, but Gus struggled parting with them because it was the last thing his dad ever gave him. But he realized that he doesn't need a pair of pants in order to hold on to his dad's memory. He invites listeners who've struggled
Later, Mike Aquilina calls in to talk about the newest book in his Reclaiming Catholic History Series from Ava Maria Press, which is called "The Church and the Age of Reformations (1350-1650): Martin Luther, the Renaissance, and the Council of Trent." Mike shares the full story of reformations of the Catholic Church, which didn't begin and end with Martin Luther.
And, Gus often talks about God's sense of humor and how, sometimes, when we think we've got it all figured out, God throws us a doozy, which is always for our good. Gus invites listeners to call in and share a time they've experienced God's sense of humor.
