Gus is joined by Kari Beckman, foundress and executive director of Regina Caeli Academy, a Catholic homeschooling organization. Over the course of the pandemic, the number of students being homeschooled grew exponentially. Kari talks about that with Gus and what she and, with another mask mandate looming for kids going back to school, what she anticipates this school year.

Also, Dr. Matthew Bunson of EWTN News calls in to talk about some of the latest Catholic headlines, including Cardinal Becciu's embezzlement trial that just started. He also talks about some of the response to Pope Francis' recent Motu Proprio, which puts restrictions on the celebration of the Latin mass and the passing of disgraced former priest Fernando Karadima whose sexual abuse of minors prompted an investigation of episcopal cover-ups in Chile.

And, last week, a caller told Gus about how, one time, she felt prompted to give away a cherished religious item. Taking a cue from her, Gus invites listeners who've given away or received precious religious articles.
