Last night was the finale of Season 3 of The Chosen. Gus talks about it, gives a few spoilers and his thoughts on how it was, all of which were positive. He invites listeners to call in and share their thoughts on the season, the series, the actors or whatever they'd like to talk about.

Also, Dr. Matthew Bunson of EWTN calls in to talk with Gus about many Catholic news items, including Pope Francis' trip to Sudan, the subsequent press conference on the plane ride back where he was asked about homosexuality and its sinful nature. Pope Francis went on to call laws in countries where simply being homosexual is illegal an injustice. They also discuss the Catholic Church's response to the earthquake in Turkey, which has a very small Catholic population, the Church of England reporting one of its synod members to the police for Tweeting "hate speech" and how charges were dropped against a woman in England for silently praying in front of an abortion clinic. Also on the docket is a story out of the state of Washington where a judge has ruled that a pro life group in Spokane owes $1 million for holding services outside of a Planned Parenthood and how the state of Tennessee is increasing support of crisis pregnancy centers by $100 million and Pope Francis' recent remarks criticizing the German "Synodal Way."

And today is the feast of two relatively newer, obscure saints in St. Jerome Emiliani and St. Josephine Bakhita. Gus shares their stories with listeners.
