Gus talks about a missive written to the Catholics of the Pacific archipelago in New Zealand by Cardinal John Dew where he suggests that, in an effort to combat clericalism, Catholics should stop referring to their priests as "Father." Gus criticizes the idea in that clericalism, which is certainly a negative, is an opaque term that can't be easily defined and that changing the language doesn't necessarily change the behavior.
