Yesterday, the world witness the horrible fire that inflicted tremendous damage on the iconic Cathedral de Notre Dame in Paris, France. Gus talks about the extent of the damage, which affected much of the roof, and the total loss of the famous central spire, but that the structure, made mostly of stone and marble, remains intact. and how all of the relics, including the Crown of Thorns worn by Jesus on the Cross, were rescued or remained mostly undamaged. Gus gets listeners thoughts on this heartbreaking event.

Gus is joined by Ryan Hall, a retired runner who holds the U.S. record for the half-marathon, who talks about his Christian faith, which he documents in his new book "Run the Mile You're In: Finding God in Every Step."

Also, Gus talks about his long weekend, which, in addition to going to the Masters with his son Patrick, included a side trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where Patrick proposed to his girlfriend Tatiana. He talks about Patrick's elaborate secret proposal plan, which worked. She said yes. Gus asks listeners to call in and share their engagement stories.
