Gus returns from walking the second half of the Camino de Santiago in Spain and is full of stories and reminiscences to share with his listeners, including his "laptop miracle" and their time spent in the ultimate destination of the Camino, Santiago de Compastela. He talks about how the cathedral there and its Portico de Gloria particularly struck him.
Later, Gus opens up the phones for Tell Me Something Good and, after experiencing so many minor miracles on the Camino, he invites listeners to call in and share their miracle stories.
Hi Gus!
I love your show and listen each day. Today you spoke about your Camino book “Live only with what you need” and the Camino backpack. I loved the analogy and was thinking of doing a youth group lesson on it with my Middle Schoolers. Can you send me the passage from the book? I would like to reference it.
Thanks so much and God Bless you,
Kris Levy
Gus, like I said I had all these beautiful inspirational notes from your broadcast today but when I went to retrieve them nothing but your name came up!
Is there anyway I can hear this morning session on the Santiago De Compostela walk again so I can share with others.
Thanks,
Debbie Nahas
Gus, By the act of God I found this wonderful radio station on my new car. I am going to do part of the Camino walk with my husband in a few weeks. I went on a pilgrim about 16 years ago with my daughter & made a stop at Santiago De Compostela.
This time my husband & I will walk. I do hope he can witness the censors swinging across the church.
Yes, everyone has a story ; & we certainly have ours. Could you please send me information how to get the book the you talked about. Like you, I had all my information in my notes about your beautiful talk but somehow only your name came up. Thanks so much for your help.
God Bless,
Debbie Nahas
Please post the reading you just read from your Camino booklet regarding " Carry only what you need." Thank you.
