Gus is joined by Catholic author, speaker and certified mentor, Bobby Angel, who calls in to talk about his new book, “The Frassati Field Guide: An 8-Day Ascent to Heroic Virtue.” Bobby talks about how he became familiar with the recent saint several years ago and the ways he challenges us to live with the same boldness, purpose and vitality that St. Pier Giorgio did. He was an adventurer and an avid mountain climber, balanced by his service to the poor and his bold witness to Jesus Christ. Bobby shares how the saint’s example can be a model for our spiritual lives.
Later, Gus recounts a recent Conversion Corner interview he did where the subject spoke about how his parents’ divorce affected his spiritual life. Gus invites listeners who’ve either been a child of divorce or gone through it themselves and how it affected their faith.
Also, October is the Month of the Rosary, and Gus encourages listeners to pray a Scriptural Rosary and gives an example of how to do it.
