Gus is joined by Fr. Patrick Hough, S.J., the executive director of Grand Coteau Retreats in Louisiana, who calls in to talk about their incredible retreat center, what people can expect, and the importance for Catholics to make retreats as often as they can.
Afterwards, inspired by his conversation with Fr. Patrick, Gus invites listeners who’ve gone on retreat to call in and share their spiritual experiences.
Later, Bob Dunning calls in to talk a little college football with Gus. They first talk about a couple of coaches who are on the hot seat, Penn State’s James Franklin and UNC’s Bill Belichick, and then break down and predict the winners of several of this weekend’s biggest games.
I was listening to the show yesterday and heard some of the call-ins who were talking about retreats they had been on. One caller’s name was Lori. She said she is an author and her favorite saint is Saint Therese of Lisieux. She said she got to be a part of a book about multiple Saint stories that was part memoirs and part mini-biographies. She said the name of the book but I don’t remember its name and I don’t have Lori’s full name. I would like to find this book. Can anyone help with the name of the book or this author’s name?
