Gus is joined by Fr. Michael Brisson, L.C. to talk about his new novel, “Death in Black and White.” It’s an intriguing story involving a New York priest and the Mafia. He also shares his vocation story and how he came about joining the Legionaries of Christ.
Afterwards, Gus talks about how he’s an avid reader and gets a lot of books sent to him. It’s part of his job. He also talks about how there are three main ways to read these days, physical copies, e-books and audio books. He invites listeners to call in and share how they prefer to read.
Later, Gus shares a story from his recent pilgrimage where, each evening, he, Michelle and Fr. Leo would pray a Rosary with pilgrims who wished to participate. On one evening, during the Rosary, one pilgrim got a case of the giggles and it spread to a couple of others. Gus was quite amused by it and he asks listeners if they’ve ever gotten a case of the giggles in an inappropriate place.
