Gus gets back to his home studio and begins his final full week of live shows. He welcomes Dr. Matthew Bunson to the show for his final appearance and shares some of his show memories and some of the many events they've talked about over the years. For their last news topics discussion, they discuss the Vatican's Christmas 2025 Nativity scene, as well as some of the strange ones under Pope Francis' papacy, the latest Little Sisters of the Poor court battle, where they're once again seeking legal protections over contraception mandates in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. And they wrap it up with Dr. Bunson's prognostication of Pope Leo's impending episcopal appointments in the U.S.

Gus also does something unprecedented. One of his biggest kept secrets is a full album he recorded in the early 1990s called "Hey God." It was released on cassette only and saw a limited release. Gus plays three tracks from it: the title track, "Hey God," "Fence Sitters" and "Jesus in the Mirror."

And with his retirement one week away, Gus asks listeners if there was ever a time in their lives where they saw the hand of God at work in their professional lives.
