Dr. Tim Gregson joins Gus in the Conversion Corner. Tim is a former music minister in the Presbyterian faith. He grew up a preacher's kid and tells Gus there was never a time in his life where he didn't love Jesus, but his instilled faith led him on a quest for truth. He talks about the importance of music in his faith life and shares his journey to the Catholic Church with Gus and the listeners.
Also, Dr. Matthew Bunson of EWTN calls in to talk some Catholic news stories, including Pope Francis' recent trip to Canada and his apology to the Indigenous people on behalf of the Catholic Church. They also discuss the pope's scheduled trip to Kazakhstan in September, more restrictions in the U.S. on the traditional Latin mass and how wealthy pro-abortion backers are targeting the Value Them Both ballot measure in Kansas.
And Gus recounts his interview last week with author Kevin Wells and how his faith was greatly influenced by his uncle, Monsignor Thomas Wells. Gus asks listeners if they have any priests or religious in their families and invites them to call in.
