Gus goes over a couple of news items of Catholic interest. Yesterday, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case of Kennedy vs. Bremerton School District where ex-Bremerton High School football coach Joseph Kennedy was fired for not ceasing to stop praying at the 50-yard line following football games. Gus reads some of the commentary and questions asked by several Supreme Court justices. He also talks about a federal judge blocking a Kentucky abortion law and discusses Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter for $44 billion. Afterwards, Gus invites listeners to call in and talk about how important Twitter is to them.
Also, Catholic author Kevin Schmiesing calls in to talk about his new book "A Catholic Pilgrimage Through American History: People and Places That Shaped the Church in the United States." Based off their conversation, Gus invites listeners to call in and talk about an historical Catholic site near them.
