Gus goes over an article published recently on the Catholic World Report about RCIA called "RCIA and Effective Evangelization" by Peter M.J. Stravinskas. The article talks about some of the benefits and many of the shortcomings. Afterwards, he talks with listeners who've been involved in RCIA in any capacity over the past 50 years or so.

Later, Dr. David Prentice of the Charlotte Lozier Institute calls in to talk about the news that broke yesterday of the Trump administration cancelling a large contract for taxpayer-funded experimentation with body parts of aborted babies and announces a new approach.

And, yesterday, a report was released from the office of Archbishop William Lori who conducted an investigation of financial improprieties of former Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, West Virginia Bishop Michael Bransfield. The report was quite shocking in how frivolously he spent diocesan money on things such as cash gifts to fellow priests and bishops, on alcohol, personal travel and luxury items. Gus goes over the report and give his opinion on the whole matter. He also reads a statement from Archbishop Lori regarding Bransfield.
