Catholic motivational speaker/author John O’Leary calls in to share his story, which is being released as a major motion picture entitled “Soul on Fire” on October 10th. In 1987, at age nine, John was playing with matches and gasoline in his family garage, which set it on fire, and caused third-degree burns on 96% of his body. He was given less than a 1% chance to survive, and he beat the odds. The movie chronicles this and his journey of faith that followed. John shares some of that story and the movie's impact on his family and community. During the course of their conversation, John mentioned that his late father was and remains a great source of inspiration for him. Gus asks listeners to call in and share who inspires them.
