Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, calls in to talk about the Charlie Kirk she knew. The conservative activist and founder of the political action group, Turning Point USA, was assassinated on Wednesday afternoon while hosting an event on the campus of Utah Valley University. Kristan knew Charlie very well and she talks about their friendship. She was hosting a campus event at a university in Montana when she heard about Charlie’s murder and talked about the good and horrible reactions that she saw from the students around her. Also, during the show, the man suspected of murdering Charlie Kirk, Tyler Robinson, is apprehended by authorities and Gus provides updates.

Afterwards, Fr. Joseph Anthony Kress, O.P. calls in to talk about the annual Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage in Washington D.C., which will be held this year on Saturday, September 27th. He shares a little of his vocation story, the impact of the annual event that he’s witnessed, and what participants can expect on the pilgrimage.

And it's Friday, so Gus prays an Intentional Rosary with listeners during his Prayer Time segments and continues reading and reflecting on the writings of St. Ignatius of Antioch in Friday w/the Fathers.
