Gus talks about something unique that happened to him and his bride Michelle recently. For many years now, they’ve supported one particular crisis pregnancy center and recently they received a call from the director telling them they’d like to name one of their rooms after them and asked if it would be OK. Gus was not into that. In fact, he says he was appalled; not with the person who asked but at the idea of that. They don’t donate for any sort of notoriety, but understand that in the non-profit world, this type of honor is quite common. They thanked him and politely refused. He asks listeners how they feel about that sort of recognition.

He also does a couple rounds of Tell Me Something Good with listeners and does his daily Lenten reading and reflection of "Imitation of Christ" by Thomas a Kempis.

Later, Mary's Meals Founder and CEO Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow calls in from Scotland to talk about his international charity that feeds two million children daily. He talks about the charity's origin, vision and their new "Right to Hope" initiative that he announced at the first Vatican Summit on Children's Rights last month. If you'd like to donate to Mary's Meals, you can do so here.
