Gus is joined by Catholic author Cheryl Hughes who calls in to talk about her new book, “Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen: Convert Maker,” available from Ignatius Press. In it, Cheryl reveals what made the famous archbishop, and TV star, such a magnetic figure in postwar America. She also explores his love of poverty and how he was an active participant in the Second Vatican Council where he befriended a young bishop named Karol Wojtyla, who would go on to become Pope John Paul II.

Later, Gus revisits his conversation with listeners from Friday about taking the Lord’s name in vain. This time, Gus asks listeners to call in and talk about their favorite swear word substitutes.

And it's Monday so Gus does his first Tell Me Something Good with listeners.
