Although the March for Life rally was cancelled and replaced with a virtual presentation, there still was a march in Washington D.C., albeit much smaller. A select group of about 100 pro-life leaders marched from the National Mall to the Supreme Court. One of those pro-life leaders was Fr. Leo Patalinghug and he calls in to share what that experience was like. He shares a story of how a group of National Guard soldiers mobilized in riot gear against a group of about 10 marches with signs and a mother pushing a stroller.
Later, Gus plays some highlights from Friday's March for Life virtual presentation, including March for Life President Jeanne Mancini, Rep. Chris Smith, Rep. Angie Hatton, Jim Daly, of Focus on the Family and an original song by Matthew West entitled "Hello, My Name Is."
Also, yesterday, kicked off National Catholic School Week and Gus welcomes Kathy Mears who is the interim president and CEO of the National Catholic Education Association, which sponsors the event annually.
And it wouldn't be a Seize the Day Monday without a little Tell Me Something Good.
I went to go and check on the piece on Father Patalinghug and can’t find did you pulled it and why?
