Gus talks about how his bride Michelle was going through some old items that have been laying around for years, including old children's VHS tapes that their kids used to watch. She decided it was time to throw them out. She really struggled with it, as did Gus, and he invites listeners to call in and share old things they struggled throwing out and what their philosophy is on getting rid of that stuff.
Also, Gus talks about the saints whose feast we celebrate today, St. Charles Borromeo, and then launches into Friday w/the Fathers. Today, he continues with St. Cyril of Jerusalem's Catechetical Lectures.
And it's Friday and that means Gus sets aside some time for prayer with listeners.
