Today marks the second week of Lent so Gus invites listeners to call in and talk about what they gave up or took on and how it's going so far.
Also, Dr. Matthew Bunson of EWTN News calls in to talk about some news stories of Catholic interest, including the UK Parliament making it a crime to pray silently inside abortion facility "buffer zones." Also, they talk about how the bishop of Steubenville, Ohio has banned the Latin mass, effective immediately and Pope Francis changing up his inner circle. He's added a few and replaced German Cardinal Reinhard Marx who is overseeing the controversial German Synodal Way but replaced him with the equally ideological Jesuit Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich. Lastly, Monday will mark the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis' papacy and they talk about some of the accomplishments and events that have taken place during his time.
And today is the Feast of St. John of God, a 15th century Portugese saint. Gus tells his incredible story and patronages.
