Gus begins his first day of two broadcasting live from Sacred Heart Cathedral in Knoxville, Tennessee. He begins by talking with the rector of the cathedral, Fr. David Boettner who shares his vocation story, his life as a priest and the role he played in the building and development of the cathedral.
Later, Sister Maria Juan Anderson of the Religious Sisters of Mercy and the and the Executive Secretary for the Diocese of Knoxville joins Gus. She shares her vocation story, her mission of ministering to the people of East Tennessee and what it's like being a religious sister in 2022.
And, we are at the midway point of Lent so Gus invites listeners to call in and share their midterm grades.
