Today is the sixth anniversary of the election of Pope Francis. After playing the audio of Fr. Dave Dwyer and Lino Rulli's announcement from 2013, Gus invites his listeners to call in and talk about the job Pope Francis has done over the course of his papacy.

Also, Gus talks about a couple of news items, including the sixth anniversary of the election of Pope Francis and the sentencing of Australian Cardinal George Pell for sex abuse. Afterwards, Gus mentions that we're one week into Lent and asks for listeners to call in and give them a progress report on their Lenten sacrifices.

And, although Gus' radio audience is mostly Catholic, we do have a lot of non-Catholic listeners. Gus invites listeners to call in who are not Catholic and talk about why they listen.
