Gus talks about the push for people to get the COVID vaccine not only from governments around the globe but also from officials from the Vatican. Gus reads an article published a few days ago by the National Catholic Register, which covers a press conference by Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, president of the Pontifical Academy for Life following a roundtable discussion by leading scientists. The archbishop encourages Catholics who are reluctant to receive the vaccine to listen to what the Church has already said regarding objections. The archbishop received some pushback from some in Catholic media who questioned why the discussion only had scientists who represented one side of the vaccine argument. Gus believes that people who choose not to get the vaccine are being vilified by some people in government, the Church and the media. Gus invites listeners to call in and give their opinions.

Also, Gus is joined in the Conversion Corner by Dan Teller who converted to Catholicism from Judaism and Zen Buddhism. Although, growing up, he always had an interest in Christianity and the story of Jesus, his conversion to Catholicism didn't begin until he met his wife in his early 20s. He tells Gus and the listeners the rest of the story.
