Gus tells his listeners that he and his bride Michelle are getting ready to do a purge of old, unneeded stuff in their home and one of the things Gus needs to trim down is the ridiculous number of books in his office. His only problem is, he has difficulty throwing books away. He asks listeners to call in and talk about what books they would keep if they had to get rid of them all.
Later, Dr. Matthew David Wiseman joins Gus in the Conversion Corner and talks about his upbringing in the Baptist church that eventually led to him joining a Messianic congregation that was made up of several Jewish converts who wanted to maintain their Jewish roots. He shares with Gus how this eventually led to him finding the Catholic Church.
