Well, we're a week into Lent so Gus invites listeners to call in and give him a Lenten Progress Report.
Also, renowned Catholic author, speaker, TV host and theologian, Dr. Scott Hahn, calls in to talk about his latest book, "The Fourth Cup."
And early on in the show, news broke that legendary Christian evangelist Billy Graham passed away early this morning at the age of 99. Gus shares a story about working at a Billy Graham Evangelistic Outreach event in Tampa back during his Spirit FM days and what that experience was like. He invites listeners to call in and share if they were ever influenced by Billy Graham.

Hi Gus,
I enjoy listening to your rebroadcasted show every day as I drive to my different clients’ homes to walk or play with their dogs.
I was influenced by Billy Graham many, many years ago in my early 20s. I even had a chance o go to one of his ministry outreach when he came to the Baltimore, Maryland area. I had a Baptist coworker/ friend who told me about accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and prayed the sinners prayer with me.
Billy Graham was the best Protestant televangelist preacher in our lifetime. I would not watch any of the others, and some of them were “false prophets” by the sins they committed and by leading their “flocks” astray. However, you never heard anything like that about Billy Graham!
I believe that God calls his ministers in all walks of life and I also believe that Billy Graham is now sharing in his heavenly reward along with Pope John Paul II, St Francis of Assisi, St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta, etc. Can you just imagine the conversation they are all having " up there"?!I
Thank you for your radio ministry in The Catholic Channel!

What was the book Gus is reading this lent that he suggested to listeners today?
Good evening Gus, I listened to your program this morning and Dr. Hahn mentioned an organization for protestant preachers converting to Catholicism. May I have the name of that organization. I was driving and couldn’t write it down. Appreciate your help.
Thanks
