Today is the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, aka the Jesuits, and Fr. David Collins, S.J. calls in to the program to talk with Gus about him and his order. He’s a Jesuit associate professor at Georgetown University and the author of the book, “The Jesuits in the United States: A Concise History,” and he and Gus talk about his order and, in particular, their history in the United States. Fr. Collins also shares his faith journey and what led him to become a Jesuit priest.

Also, since the Jesuits play a big part in Catholic education in the United States, so Gus invites listeners who’ve had any kind of experience with the Society of Jesus to call in and share it.
