It’s the final day of Lent and, because of today's Gospel reading, it’s often referred to as Spy Wednesday. Gus talks about why it's called that and reflects on the famous saying that’s often attributed to St. Alphonsus Liguori, “Be mindful of me Lord, for I can betray you at any time.” Afterwards, he gives his final Lenten grade and tells listeners that he doesn’t feel he did very well at all this year. He invites listeners to call in and share their final Lenten grade in whatever way they choose.

Also, Dr. Matthew Bunson of EWTN News calls in to talk about a number of news items of Catholic interest. They start off talking about the state of Pope Francis’ health, which has significantly upgraded following his 40-day stay at Gemelli Hospital battling double pneumonia. Dr. Bunson goes over how his Holy Week schedule has been adjusted to accommodate his limitations. They also talk about the Vatican’s new rules for mass intentions, which stress that if a priest is presented with two or more mass intentions for the same day, he needs to make both parties aware of one another and get their consent.

Gus later continues his daily Lenten reading and reflection of Thomas a Kempis' "Imitation of Christ."
