Gus is joined by Catholic author Karlo Broussard to talk about his new Catholic Answers book, “Baptism Now Saves You: How Water and Spirit Give Eternal Life.” In it, Karlo tackles the tough questions like who should get baptized, how should it be done, what happens to unbaptized babies when they die and should people secretly baptize their grandchildren. He and Gus address several of those questions and more.
Later, after praying his daily decade of the Scriptural Rosary in honor of the Month of the Rosary, Gus talks about the linguistics of the “Hail Mary.” There are two schools of thought, the traditional and the contemporary. In the traditional version of the prayer, Thee, Thou and Thy are used, and in the contemporary form, it’s You and Your. Gus invites listeners to call in and talk about which version they use and why.
And since today is the Feast of St. Jude, which he shares with St. Simon, the patron saint of lost causes, Gus invites listeners to call in and share a lost cause they prayed to St. Jude about that got answered.
