Dr. Thomas Hilgers calls into the program to talk about the future of Roe v. Wade. Dr. Hilgers has been involved in the pro-life movement since before Roe v. Wade and his just-published scientific investigation challenges the ruling that gave America abortion on demand. His study, entitled "The Fake and Deceptive Science Behind Roe. v. Wade: Settled Law v. Settled Science," says the pregnancy-related science to support Roe and Doe v. Bolton has been found manifestly deficient. Another aspect of Dr. Hilgers' study was that the notion of "backstreet" or "coat hanger" abortions was essentially false.
Afterwards, Gus talks about how the abortion culture and artificial contraception go hand in hand and talks about how the Catholic Church teaches against both. Ironically, the majority of Catholic couples use artificial contraception. Gus asks listeners to call in if they ever experienced a change of heart regarding that.
