Fr. Leo Patalinghug joins Gus. He plays a mixdown of all the “Father Leo Chorus” calls from yesterday and serenades him with the beautiful cacophony, which greatly tortures his good priest friend. Afterwards, they talk about relationships and some of the difficulties that can come with them. Gus asks Fr. Leo if it’s possible to love somebody without liking them. He says it is, then gives recommendations on how to address it from a spiritual perspective. Afterwards, Gus asks Fr. Leo, an expert in homiletics, what makes a good and a bad homily. Gus also brought that question to listeners who call in and give their definitions.

Gus, this may seem trivial in light of the importance of your retirement announcement, but before your time ends, please do another round of the father Leo chorus! The first time I heard you talking about it, I thought maybe it would be silly, but it actually brightened up my day it was a lot of fun. You helped me to stretch my boundaries in that way, and to have a lighter day.
Your wonderful presence on seize the day, every single day, will be very much missed, for so many reasons.
