Gus is back after a day in Myrtle Beach visiting his son and he talks with listeners on a myriad of subjects, including the importance of a church's sound system and how they prepare for mass.

Later, Gus talks about mass donations. It's church tradition, with a small t, to give the priest a donation for a specific mass donation, but it is not a requirement. Gus asks listeners what they typically give for a mass offered up for a loved one.

I am having a Mass said during 2018 for each of my deceased close relatives, i.e. Parents, grandparents, great grandparents, uncles and aunts and great uncles/aunts. I am having the mass said on the date of their birth. My parish request a donation of $5 for each Mass.
