Later, Jared Fawcett sits down with Gus in the Conversion Corner. Jared called the show about two weeks ago, during the Tell Me Something Good segment, to share that he was converting to the Catholic faith after being a Protestant minister for many years. He shares his exclusive story with Gus, talking about starting out in the Church of Latter-Day Saints, aka Mormanism, which led to evangelical Christianity. Jared says the thing that convinced him that the Catholic Church was the true church was reading the writings of the Church fathers.
And today is the Feast of St. Cyril of Alexandria so Gus closes by reading three of St. Cyril's 12 anathemas.
