Today is the Feast of St. Josemaria Escrivá, a 20th century saint and the founder of Opus Dei. In 1934, he published a spiritual masterpiece, entitled "The Way," which contains simple little spiritual thoughts and expressions on living our daily lives with a longing to see Jesus Christ. Gus rekindles an annual tradition called "The Way Roulette," where listeners call in and pick a number between 1 and 999 and Gus gives them each a little spiritual nugget to think and pray upon throughout the day.

Also, Randall Petrides, author of "How the Saints Shaped History," calls in to talk about the essential role so many saints played throughout the course of modern history in moving the Church and the world as vessels of God's grace. Randall gives a few examples out of the many that are contained in his new book that's available from Our Sunday Visitor.

And it's Monday and that always means a round of Tell Me Something Good with listeners.

St. Josemaria Escrivá, pray for us!
