Dan Hennessy calls in to the show today. He and his wife Sue were on the Danube River Cruise/Pilgrimage with Gus last week and Sue died while on the journey. She had been diagnosed with cancer just before Christmas 2017 and went to Europe knowing full well she may die there. She wanted to get to Poland, her ancestral home, to the Shrine of the Black Madonna, where she died. Dan shares her story.
Also, Gus talks about his bride Michelle's struggle with her arthritic knees. They've gotten progressively worse over the past few years so she's going in for knee replacement surgery tomorrow. Gus takes a little time to give her a few affirmations. He opens up the phones to listeners who've had knee replacement success stories.
I listen when I am in the car doing errands. I truly enjoy your show.
I am a “low key” Catholic and I try to remember to pray.
I love the “ Saint of the Day”.
I hope you air Dan Hennessy story again. Like a previous comment I didnt get to hear the whole story. I would very much like to hear it all.
Gus,
So I know Dan and Sue through church. I know Tammy and Dan as well who God placed and who are at the church that I serve. This was certainly a God moment. People often wonder is God really listening? Is he really their with me? Well yes he is, and if you have ever a doubt – Dan and Sue’s faith shows you otherwise and how He puts people in the right place at the right time. We will miss Sue- her faith, her love for her kids and grandkids and her love for God.
I caught the tail end of your conversation with Dan Hennessy and listened to your following comments. My regret is I missed much of the conversation. Any way of uploading the conversation to your site? My heart is filled with love for Sue and Dan.
Yours in Christ,
Steve
