Today is the Feast of St. John Bosco, founded of the Salesian order and the patron saint of students, young children and juvenile delinquents. St. John Bosco spent much of his life in the education and development of school age boys, particularly poor and/or troubled ones. Through the course of his life, St. John was blessed with a series of spiritual dreams that often depicted through symbolism the horrors of hell and the spiritual perils many of his boys faced. Many years ago, his written dreams were collected in a book by TAN Publishing called "The 40 Dreams of St. John Bosco" and Gus goes over a couple of those. Inspired by St. John Bosco's dreams, Gus invites listeners to call in if they've ever experienced a profound spiritual dream that they believe came from God.
And later, Andrea Garrett joins Gus in the Conversion Corner. She was baptized in a Methodist church and, in her early teens, was introduced to fundamental Christianity. She continued to seek God through different Protestant denominations and ended up working a producer for the Christian Broadcasting Network. She eventually ended up going to a tiny Anglican church and that's where her journey to Catholicism began. She tells Gus and the listeners the whole story.
