Benjamin Wolaver of the Annie Moses Band, a band composed of him and his six siblings. Benjamin talks about the benefits and struggles of being in a touring band with your family and shares his faith journey. His family roots stretch back to the Southwest and evangelical Christianity and, not so very long ago, the entire band converted to Catholicism. He also talks about their new TV program called The Wonderful World of Benjamin Cello.
One incredible aspect of Benjamin's family story is that they're all musical virtuosos. In fact, Benjamin and a few of his siblings studied music at Julliard. Gus invites listeners to call in and share what instrument they'd love to be proficient at if they had their wish.
Also, Gus talks about some of his favorite Christmas movies, including A Christmas Story and It's a Wonderful Life, and invites listeners to call in and share theirs. Gus especially encourages obscure Christmas movies. We hear about the Bishop's Wife, Christmas in Connecticut and A Christmas Together with the Muppets and John Denver.
