Bob shares he would want the Church to be more flexible and less dogmatic. Gus explains that this unchanging dogmatic truth is what attracted him. He invites callers to share why they choose to be Catholic and what they would change.
Also, Cross Catholic Outreach President Jim Cavnar calls in to talk about their Advent initiative, which is assisting children in Guatemala by building safe homes and building schools. He and Gus also talk about their Box of Joy, which provides schools, parishes and families an inspiring opportunity to send gifts to Haiti, Guatemala and other developing countries.
Gus also talks about the Respect for Marriage Act that professed Catholic President Joe Biden is expected to sign into law today. He shares his concerns and the responses from other religious leaders.
