This weekend, Gus watched a screener of the new movie Father Stu starring Mark Wahlberg, which opens tomorrow. Gus shares a little bit of the synopsis of the film, without any spoilers, and gives his review, which is mostly positive. He does warn listeners that there is lots of foul language and isn't one that you should take the entire family to see, especially if you have small children.
Later, Fr. Bart Tolleson calls in. He's a priest in the Diocese of Helena, Montana and was a fellow seminarian and friend of the late Fr. Stuart Long whose life story is told in the new movie "Father Stu."
And Gus talks about the use of gratuitous profanity in movies and asks listeners to call in and talk about if that's something that prevents them from going.
