Gus talks about the Gospel reading at yesterday's Palm Sunday Mass. It's the full Passion of the Lord story from Luke's Gospel and, at his parish, the parishioners didn't participate. In fact, it was Gus, who's a lector, who read the parishioners' parts. He was the only one in the entire church yelling "Crucify Him" and mocking and scorning him. He says it was tough and that he had tears running down his cheek as he walked back to his pew. He also says that only two years ago, no Catholic church in the country, and around the world, who were able to attend mass during Holy Week and that some parishes still haven't fully come back with missals and holy water and such. He invites listeners to call in and share how the Passion reading went down at their respective parishes.

And it's Monday, so Gus engages in a little Tell Me Something Good with listeners.
