Gus is joined by Catholic author/speaker Gary Zimak to talk about his new book, “Lord Save Me! Prayers and Encouragement When Life Feels Hard.” Gary is the author of the popular “Give Up Worry” series and this is a continuation of his mission, which is to encourage people and point them to heartfelt prayers to draw closer to God during difficult moments.

Afterwards, Gus talks about the retreat he led on the pilgrimage and some of the meditations he encouraged his pilgrims to do, and encourages his listeners to do the same. He suggested focusing strongly on two mysteries of the Rosary and/or using Lectio Divina to meditate, which is an ancient practice of reading and praying with Scripture.

Later, Gus goes over the manifesto left by Annunciation Church shooter Robert/Robin Westman. He reflects on the disservice that the mental health community has done to people suffering from gender dysphoria and opens up the conversation to listeners.
