Gus talks about the Women's Health Protection Act being voted on in Congress as a reaction to the Texas Heartbeat Bill. It's the most radical, vicious abortion bill in this nation's history and, this past weekend, San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone referred to abortion as "child sacrifice" and called on Catholics to pray and fast for the defeat of the bill in a homily. Gus invites listeners to call in and talk about the language used by the archbishop and how they feel about it.

Also, today is the Feast of St. Pius of Pietrelcina, aka Padre Pio. Nick Salkowski, communications director of the National Centre for Padre Pio in Barto, Pennsylvania, calls in to talk about the life and legacy of the saint and how their shrine honors him.

And later, Bob Dunning calls in to talk college football with Gus. They talk about the results of their picks last weekend and who's going to win the biggest matchups this weekend.
