Gus talks about the Texas Heartbeat Bill going into effect and the Supreme Court's 5-4 decision yesterday to not act on a petition to halt it by several abortion providers. Later, Mallory Quigley of the Susan B. Anthony List calls in to the show to talk about the it with Gus and say that, although this is a great victory, the work of pro-life advocates is far from over.

Also, Gus is a big fan of shows like Antiques Roadshow and Pawn Stars where, quite often, ordinary people happen upon historic artifacts that hold great value. Gus invites listeners to call in and share if they've ever stumbled upon anything like that or won a sweepstakes or a prize.

And, this weekend marks the beginning of the college football season and Bob Dunning calls in to talk about some of the changes we're going to see this year, some changes that may be coming to conferences and the playoffs and to make some predictions on a few of the best matchups in Week 1.
