Gus plays a news story from the West Lafayette, Indiana CBS TV affiliate. It features a priest on the campus of Purdue University, Fr. Patrick Baikauskus, who drives around campus on a golf cart advertising "confessions on the go." He explains that he's taken Pope Francis' message to heart about taking God out to the peripheries. Inspired by Fr. Pat's "Confessions on the Go Cart," Gus asks listeners to share the oddest place they ever made a confession.

Gus talks about the disturbing number of kids who attend Catholic school throughout their academic life and then stop practicing their faith after graduation. Gus talks with listeners who either experienced this themselves or have kids who did.

And, Bob Dunning calls in to predict the outcome of four college football games with Gus. They are:

USC vs. BYU

Stanford vs. UCF

Kentucky vs. Florida

Washington State vs. Houston

    Jenny,
A Minute in the Church is not specifically geared to middle schoolers, but is appropriate for them. You can find them on the web site. God Bless!
