Gus is joined by actor Jonathan Roumie, who portrays Jesus in the new miniseries "The Chosen." Jonathan gives Gus some background on how the project came together, his early life and career and how difficult it can be portraying Jesus.
Later, Gus talks about how he came around to watching The Chosen and how he was skeptical at first. Now, he's a huge fan. He talks with listeners and gets their thoughts on the miniseries.
And, Bob Dunning calls in to talk about the current state of the college football season. The ACC, SEC and Big 12 are still going ahead with their seasons, which begin over the course of the next three weekends. The Big 10 and Pac-12's respective seasons are still on hold although they're both now flirting with starting around Thanksgiving. Gus and Bob also talk about the California wildfires which have destroyed a record two million acres so far.
