This Sunday is Halloween and Gus mentions that it's the number two U.S. holiday in terms of spending and he mentions the houses in his neighborhood that decorate for it. They range from small to grandiose with a lot of ghouls and gore. Gus invites listeners to call in and share their thoughts on Halloween, whether or not the celebrate it and, if so, how they go about it.
Later, Fr. Leo Patalinghug calls in to talk with Gus about a myriad of things, including things a priest wears, celebrating Halloween and appropriate vs. inappropriate costumes.
And, Bob Dunning calls in to talk about the state of the college football season now that we're a little more than midway through it and picks this weekend's biggest games with Gus.
