In honor of Veteran's Day, Gus welcomes Fr. Daniel Swartz, CHC, LT USN, to the program. Fr. Swartz is currently a U.S. Navy chaplain. He talks about his vocation story and what drew him to the military chaplaincy. He was also the last priest stationed in Afghanistan and was at the Kabul Airport when the suicide bombing, which took the lives of 13 U.S. servicemen 60 civilians, occurred this past August 26th. In fact, his battalion suffered the largest amounts of casualties. He shares that experience as well.
Later, Gus invites military veterans, active-duty military and/or spouses of veterans to call in and share their stories.
And, Bob Dunning calls in to talk about the latest College Football Playoff rankings and to pick this weekend's biggest games with Gus.
