Gus is joined by Catholic author Larry S. Chapp to talk about his new book, "Confession of a Catholic Worker: Our Moment of Christian Witness." He talks a little bit about his faith journey and gets into the purpose of his book, which highlights the struggles devout Catholics face in the post-Christian workplace. He also talks with Gus about how Catholic workers need to prepare for a "coming storm," which he describes as a world with little patience for Catholic/Christian spirituality and the rise of the state, artificial intelligence and surveillance by government bodies. Larry shares the influence of Dorothy Day on his writing and gives his thoughts on the Second Vatican Council, which is blamed for every problem in the Catholic Church by some and deified by others. Larry gives a more balanced perspective.

One of the biggest aspects of Larry's book is the practice of evangelization, which is bringing others to grow in faith through witness. It's something we as Catholics believe in very strongly. To many, the act of evangelization can be confusing. Gus says that it's not simply standing on the street corner and beating on a Bible. It has more to do with sharing your story. Gus invites listeners to call in and share how they evangelize.
