Gus is joined by noted pro-life activist Dr. Monica Migliorino Miller of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society who was recently released from a Michigan jail where she served 32 days for her participation in a "Red Rose Rescue." That's where pro-life advocates enter the waiting room of an abortion clinic and offer red roses to mothers who are there to end the lives of their unborn babies in hopes of changing their minds. She and others were charged with trespassing and sentenced to 45 days. She shares that experience with Gus, which she describes as a blessing in many ways, as well as her 40 years in the pro-life movement. You can read more about her experiences in her book, "Abandoned: The Untold Story of the Abortion Wars."
Afterwards, Gus talks about how there are many degrees of activism and most don't end in jail sentences. Gus invites listeners to call in and give their reactions to Dr. Miller's level of activism.
Also, in today's Friday w/the Fathers, Gus begins St. Gregory of Nazianzus' Second Theological Oration and also engages in some Prayer Time with listeners.
