Today is Gus’ birthday and he talks about some of the people he shares a birthday with, including Catholic Channel host Katie McGrady and former German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Gus invites listeners to call in and share with whom they share a birthday.
Afterwards, Bob Dunning calls in and the birthday sharing conversation continues. Bob has no idea who he shares a birthday with, but Gus continues with his, including British television mogul Mark Burnett. They also talk about the start of college football season which is fast approaching.
Also, Gus is joined by Joshua Morris in the Conversion Corner. He grew up in the Presbyterian Church of America and went to a mega church in the Atlanta suburbs. He also developed a passion for science and studied chemistry, which he now teaches. His faith grew when he met his future wife Chelsea in college and one of his older brothers converted to Catholicism after going to law school at Notre Dame. He shares the story with Gus and the listeners.
