Gus goes over a recent Pew Research Poll which shows that throughout the entire COVID pandemic, 28% of Americans say that their faith has been strengthened. 68% say that it hasn't really changed while the rest say it impacted them negatively. Gus invites listeners to call in and share how COVID has impacted their faith lives.
Later, Gus welcomes Joelle Maryn to the Conversion Corner. Joelle is a revert to the Catholic faith. Though raised Catholic, a house fire just before Christmas when she was six that took her sister's life shook her faith. As she grew into a young woman, Joelle found success in acting and modeling but the Catholic foundation and example left by her grandparents kept pulling her back to God. She tells Gus and the listeners her journey.
